This page is your reference guide for the weekly Deeper Read studies. Here you’ll find the complete downloadable reading schedule along with the Scripture passages for each week’s study. As new Deeper Reads are published, the corresponding Scripture readings will be added here.
The newest week’s reading always appears first, making it easy to follow the current study, read ahead, or revisit previous weeks.
Our Reading Plan
Together we read through the Bible chronologically from Genesis to Revelation using the NKJV Chronological (New King James Version) as our primary reading Bible while comparing the CJB (Complete Jewish Bible) and the TLV (Tree of Life Version). Reading these three versions side by side often reveals details and connections that enrich our understanding of the Lord’s Word.
The reading plan is divided into 43 weekly sections, with additional weeks devoted to the biblical feasts and holy days. Each Simchat Torah, celebrated in the fall, we return to Genesis and begin the journey again. Reading through the Scriptures this way allows the people, events, psalms, prophecies, and letters to unfold within their historical setting, helping us see the Lord’s story as one continuous journey.
If you don’t own the NKJV Chronological Bible, don’t worry. Simply read the Scripture passages below in the order they’re listed using your preferred Bible translation. The references themselves are arranged chronologically, making them easy to follow in any version.
Before You Read
Before you begin, pause and pray. Ask the Lord to open your heart, guide your understanding, and show you what He wants you to see in His Word.
Some weeks you’ll simply follow the story as it unfolds. Other weeks a single verse may lead you into a deeper study or answer a question you’ve been carrying. Don’t feel like you have to understand everything the first time through. The goal isn’t to master every passage. The goal is to walk with the Lord through His Word, one day at a time.
Trust the leading of the Holy Spirit (Ruach HaKodesh), enjoy the journey, and allow the Lord to reveal His Word in His perfect timing.
